Koronadal City (January 21, 2010) - The local DTI office here completed today the adjudicatory procedure on disposing violative goods in front of the DTI Regional Office No. 12.

"In the presence of our resident auditor Norma Santos from the Commission on Audit, representative from the media, the consumer group, and the general public, we destroyed all the violative goods we have confiscated during our Product Standards (PS) Law enforcement operations last year," according to Provincial Director Flora P. Gabunales.

DTI conducted a series of PS enforcement activities last year.  Adjudication of cases followed.  Part of the resolution of the cases is the disposal of the violative goods.

"We are thankful also to the assistance extended to us by the engineering office of our provincial government," added by acting chief Elbert G. Capecio.  The LGU of South Cotabto provided the equipment steamroller which was used in the disposal.
