Koronadal City - The Human Resource Management unit of DTI-12 will host a monthly forum on various issues and concerns.

The topic on DTI Regulation Mandates is the first in the schedule of this year-long undertaking.  The HRM Unit will host the forum at the DTI 12 Conference Room, 3/F deluz Bldg., Gensan Drive, this city.

In gist, the regulation mandates pursuant to various enactments (E.O. 133, RA 7394, DTI DAOs, DTI DOs, etc.) are the legal basis of the coined phrase 'championing consumer.'

To be effective in the execution of regulatory power, the DTI should be both PROACTIVE and REACTIVE.  Proactive in order to empower consumers (Advocacies; Organizational Development; Monitoring and Enforcement, etc.).  Reactive in the sense that all the clients' requirements (BN Registration, PCAB Applications, Consumer Complaint, etc.) should be acten upon mandatorily.

"We need to be familiar with the regulatory mandate of our organization.  Primarily because this function of DTI is based on implementation of various laws," according to RD Ibrahim Guiamadel.
